Overall, the BlackOUT Reveals is a series of art experiences coming to the city of St. Petersburg, Florida. Meticulously planned, BlackOUT will explore the darkness itself as an art medium. The BlackOUT series will foster audience participation and provoke discussion for a distinctly local, evolving, and memorable experience. Our staff will display featured artworks in darkness to transform its environment - it is up to its attendees to feel its meaning. At its core, BlackOUT embodies the philosophy that what you see with your eyes only scratches the surface of what is occurring in an art experience. Together, we will fuse conceptual, contemporary, and experiential art worlds.
